| Ch. Sylvan Argent Simply Irresistible"SAX"A Ch. Above and Beyond daughter, SAX has always been special. As a baby, she finished at 7.1 mos with five BOV, two specialty wins and five group placements including an incredible group 1. She was campaigned as soon as she matured and under the handling of Brian Livingston became the top winning rough collie in the history of the breed with 17 Best In Shows and over 100 Group 1's. She added on with three consecutive Breed wins at the Westminster KC and a Group 3 and 4 at the same shows. She went on to win the AKC Eukanbua Classic Herding Group under Lee Reasin. She is a pure joy to own and love each day. SAX has been retired from the show ring to produce some puppies of her own. As a baby, she was dubbed by the local all breed fancy as "wonder puppy". We can only hope she will present us with another as wonderful as she has been. |
| Ch. Sylvan Argent Its All About Me"GUCCI"A Ch. Above and Beyond daughter, and full sister to SAX, Gucci has made her debut into the specials ring with a thunderous entrance! Best In Show her first time out with Brian Livingston. Wow!! We think her sister SAX must have given her some pointers!!! Like her sister before her, Gucci went on to take the Breed and obtain a cut in the group at the 2010 AKC Eukanuba Classic. She has since obtained multiple specialty wins and mulitple group wins as she races to her own ineviable record. Watch for Gucci with Brian Livingston. She is owned by Jennifer Mosing, Dr. Cindi Bossart, Gail Currie and Connie DuBois. |
| CH. Sylvan Argent Badditude Adjustment"DARBY"Darby is a sister to both SAX and Gucci as they have the same sire and their dams are sisters. Darby finished quickly on the Winter Circuit and has won numerous group placements. She has recently been bred to the late CH. Alfenloch the Silver Laser. Her puppies on the ground now are from a 20 year old frozen semen collection and we couldn't be more proud of our two treasures! Hats off to Dr. Cindi Bossart as she worked the magic to make this happen. We hope the two blue boys from this litter will bring us our next generation of standouts. |
| Ch. Sylvan Argent Pastel Impressions"MONET""Monet" finished quickly on the tough winter circuit and drew many ringside and judges heads with her breathtaking outline and sweet expression. She carries a heavy coat factor and often is seen perched in front of the fan during the summer months blocking the air from the others. She is a clown and also knows she is special! She is sired by one of our favorite dogs, Ch. Sylvan's Standing Ovation and is out of our first Dawson daugther to finish, Ch. Sylvan's Nightingale. A beautiful tightly bred pedigree with strengths in movement and type, we expect her to produce as well as her pedigree stands. We hope to breed Monet sometime in late 2011. [pedigree] |
 | Ch. Sylvan Argent Prim and Proper"VICKI"Another Ch. Above and Beyond daughter, Vicki, took some time off for a litter before returning to the ring to finish with two specialty majors. Vicki had to wait on the sideline until the big sister, SAX, moved on to her specials career. Vicki did produce multiple champions in her first litter and we have one of her granddaughters, Cartier, to play with now- our thanks to Molly and TC Livingston. |
| Near Ch. Sylvan Argent Lipstick Chronicles"SARAH"Sarah is from the last litter of the Dawson ex Tiffany combination which produced SAX and Gucci before her. She was a singleton puppy and as such ended up being one of our more spoiled rotten girls. She lacks three minor points to finish and then she will hopefully be bred to our Ch. Empire Maker in early 2012. Sarah, named after Sarah Palin, has always been the most vocal, opinionated and pretty darn funny bitches we have had the pleasure of showing and living with. Life is always an adventure with Sarah! |
| Barksdale Sylvan Argent Bellisima"BELLA"Life with "Bella" is always an adventure. She was a stud fee puppy back from Nancy McDonald who had bred her lovely Ch. Barksdale Marleste Fashionista to Dawson. This pedigree combination already presented us with the likes of SAX, Gucci and Sarah. It didn't take any convincing for us to decide on this gorgeous little girl. Bella pointed as a puppy and then took a short time off to mature and raise a litter by our Ch. Sylvan Argent Power Surge. This breeding only tightening the strenght of type, head detail and incredible soundness that existed in their pedigrees. Bella currently has seven gorgeous puppies by Power Surge. Us? We have no idea who we are keeping as they truly give us tingles of excitment. We definitely did something very right with this combination. For us as breeders, we couldn't be more thrilled. Bella will be back in the show ring later in the Fall. |
